If you live in Boston, like I do, you can book a $12 flight to San Juan, Puerto Rico on JetBlue. You can grab these fares for almost every single day of the week, even peak dates around long weekends, Thanksgiving and December break. (Thanks to The Flight Deal for finding these fares). UPDATE: This is no longer available.

These are the “Blue” or “Blue Extra” fares, so you might not see it right away if you are looking on the app. And due to the current waivers in place, they are fully cancelable for no fee. You’ll just end up with a travel credit in your travel bank.

Or, if you want to book with points, you’ll find that it will cost you just 100 JetBlue points plus $5.60 in taxes/fees.

I have personally gone ahead and book a few flights for much later in the year. Of course no one knows when it will be safe again to fly, but I do not recommend flying now. Fortunately, these can be canceled for no fee, so if travel doesn’t work out during that time, then no loss. Just make sure you’ll have a usage for the travel credits if you end up with them.

Comment below if you grabbed these incredible low fares.
