Thanks to The Flight Deal for pointing out a great fare for those looking to travel from New York (LaGuardia) to Miami and visa versa. This is for a non-stop flight on American Airlines which is great!
Unfortunately these great fares are only available for departure and returns on Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Saturday. So if you are flexible this could be a great option! If you are not as flexible, I do see nonstop flights for $197 on many other days of the week – still a decent fare, but not as cheap as the off-peak dates. These fares are available for travel now through mid-December.
If you’ve been looking for flights to/from New York and Miami, I also suggest keeping an eye on Frontier Airlines. They’ve been having some great fare deals between these two locations, but the one caveat is that you have to fly Frontier and they have many extra charges.
