Via Gilt City or Groupon you can purchase a $20 voucher to be redeemed at many New York City parking garages. This is for Icon Parking Systems which are ALL over the city – there are more than 200 locations and you can check them out here. For an overnight 24 hour period, this is a great deal! Typically you’d be paying $30+.
The voucher expires October 31, 2013. With each site you are allowed to purchase 5 vouchers per accounts and an additional 5 as gifts. This discounted voucher is not valid for in and out privileges. Now, if you are looking to park just for the day, many garages around the city offer daily rates of about $13, but it requires entering by 10am-ish and retrieving the car around 7pm-ish. I am not confident that this parking is available downtown in the financial district though.
