To be quite honest, I personally have never used TripAdvisors hotel booking site, but after playing around with it for a few minutes, it seems to be similar to any other third party reservation site. Prices also seem to be on par with all other sites, but I still suggest searching around to make sure you are getting the best price available. The search engine will also not bring up AAA or other corporate rates you might be eligible and you’ll only be able to see those prices by going directly to the hotels site (or loyalty programs reservation site). Additionally, some hotel chains will only give you certain benefits (i.e., free wifi) if you book directly through the hotel and not through a third-party reservation system, so keep this in mind. These types of promotions are typically best when you are looking to book a non-chain hotel.

With this promotion, you MUST book directly through TripAdvisor AND leave a review of your hotel stay. In order to qualify, you must make the reservation between August 15 and September 5, 2016 with a travel date prior to October 15, 2016. You must leave a review of your stay by before October 15, 2016 and you must use the same email address in the review that you used to make you reservation. Lastly, the reservation must be at least $200. The terms state that you’ll receive your $25 Amazon certificate within 60-90 after your hotel stay. You are limited 1 Amazon.com certificate per email address.
