To add onto the free items at CVS that I wrote about yesterday, you can also get a good deal on purchasing Gap, Old Navy, or Banana Republic gift cards at CVS.

Through November 26, 2014, you can purchase a $100 gift card at Gap, Old Navy, or Banana Republic and get $25 ExtraBucks. So while you will not get 25% of your purchase back in cash, you will get it back to use on future CVS purchases. A great deal if you shop at CVS often. Not the best deal if you do not think you’ll be able to use the $25 ExtraBucks.

For those not aware with CVS extrabucks, all you need to do is give your red card or phone number associated with your account when making the purchase. You will then need to use the same account number when redeeming your $25 extrabucks. ExtraBucks do expire, and while I do not know exactly when the $25 must be used by, typically you have about a month.

This is limited to 1 per card. But if you have multiple extrabuck cards, you can take advantage multiple times. The terms state that rain checks are not available in MI or on items valued at $15 or more in NJ. For all other states, it looks like you can possibly get a rain check if the gift cards are sold out.
