Last week I wrote about an offer where American Express Membership Reward members were able to earn double points when making Amazon.com purchases through May 16, 2016. Many readers commented that they were not targeted. However, when I checked my Amex Offers account yesterday, the original offer that I wrote about last week vanished and a new offer become available. This provides the same exact 2x points, however, lasts through July 31, 2016. Not only that, based on the reports I’ve read, it seems like everyone is eligible (although you might not see it on all your American Express Membership Reward earning cards).
This is an Amex Offer, so you’ll need to sign into your AmericanExpress.com account, go to the “Amex Offers & Benefits” section, and click the “Add to Card” for the specific Amazon offer. This offer will only be available on credit cards that earn Membership Reward points, i.e., American Express EveryDay, American Express Platinum, American Express Premier Gold Rewards, etc.
For those that make purchases at Amazon.com, this is a great way to increase the number of points you earn. Of course, your best bet to really maximize the points earned is to buy Amazon gift cards in advance from an office supply store (i.e., Staples) with a credit card that earns 5x points (i.e., Chase Ink, American Express SimplyCash).

Does this exclude corporate AMEX cards? I dont see anything at all on ‘AMEX offers and benefits’ on my corporate card account, even though I’m enrolled in Membership Rewards. I have a Corporate Platinum card.
@Hunt – Corporate Amex cards are excluded from all Amex Offers
