One of my favorite ways to save money is by using an online shopping portal or cash back app. I use the Dosh app quite a bit and right now they are offering a pretty awesome way to save money on your next hotel stay. By booking through their app, you’ll receive $30 cash, plus they are advertising up to 40% off your stay.

On top of the $30 bonus, you’ll also receive your regular cash back simply by booking through the app. I did go ahead and compare rates for a few hotels against many other third-party booking sites, so the discount isn’t really there, but a $30 bonus is quite good! You are also limited to one $30 cash back bonus per subscriber, so if both you and your significant other download the app, you can maximize your savings. For example, if you have a two night stay, split up the reservation into two separate nights (as long as the rate stays the same). This is also a great offer for those cheap stays since its a flat bonus.

Also, if you aren’t looking to book a hotel right now, I still suggest downloading the Dosh app. All you have to do is use a credit card that is tied to your account as your form of payment and you’ll be earning cash back in no time. For example, at my local Dunkin’ Donuts I receive 4% cash back every single time I make a purchase there. Same goes for many other local restaurants that I eat at often. You’ll also continue to find great promotions throughout the year. You can read more about saving money on everyday purchases with Dosh here.
