Hyatt is sending out emails to their credit card holders giving them the opportunity to earn 3,000 bonus Hyatt Gold Passport points. All you have to do is spend $3,000 on your Chase Hyatt credit between November 1 and December 31, 2015.
I personally value Hyatt points at about 2 cents per point, so 3,000 points is equivalent to about $60 in my book. Hyatt points have a pretty high value, so changing your credit card over to the Hyatt card for the next two months might not be a bad option.

Hmmm…. $3,000 spend for 3,000 points or $3,000 spend to get 50,000 SW points.(when you open a new credit card)
You decide what’s more valuable.
However, If you already have all of the SWA cards, Comp Pass and are maxed out on SWA / Chase products and happen to have the Hyatt card and have no other spending goals this could make sense.
Read the flyer a little more carefully. They aren’t offering a bonus 3k on top of the 3k you’d normally earn with $3k spend. They are just showing if you spend $3k you will get 3k points. It’s a non offer, just a reminder to use their card.
@rdover – It is a $3k bonus after you spend $3,000. So let’s say you spend $3,000 on transactions that earn 1 point per dollar, this will net you 6,000 points total.
