While I do not typically write about individual hotel sales, this one from the Hyatt Regency in Newport, Rhode Island just came in through my inbox and I thought it was worth sharing!

For reservations booked through tomorrow night, September 24, 2013, you can stay for $69/night! While this is for extremely off-peak times, this could be nice for a weekend getaway. Availability is for November 24, 2013 through March 11, 2014. However, there are many blackout dates: 11/29-12/7, 12/14, 12/21, 12/26-28, 12/31, 1/3-4, 1/14-18, 2/7-8, 2/14-16, 2/21-22, 2/28-3/1, 3/7-8.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times and it is one of the nicest in Newport. During the summer is obviously best with the nearby beach and pool/activities at the hotel, but I also had a great stay there in April once! There are wineries nearby, although I’d suggest checking to see if they are open in the winter.

This is by far the cheapest you’ll ever find this hotel. Even in the off-peak times this hotel is well over $150ish/night, and in the summer can be upwards of $300/night. Enjoy!

Thanks for posting this. Three adults for the first weekend in Feb. with a rate of $94. It will be interesting to see what Newport is like in the winter.
