JetBlue is running a great promotion where ultimately you can use your points for free flights with a 20% discount. For all reservations booked through tomorrow night, November 15, 2014 at 11:59pm ET, you will receive 20% of the points redeemed back as a rebate. This is for travel November 13, 2014 through January 31, 2015.

Remember, since this is a rebate promotion (and not a discount promotion), you must have enough points in your account to book the flight. You will not see the rebate until later on (4-6 weeks after your travel is complete).

If you are a JetBlue Mosaic member and the flight hasn’t increased, you can always cancel your ticket and rebook.

Very unhappy with jet Blue right now, I contacted Mint customer service this morning about this to know avail.

I booked Mint flights with awards points for December but I don’t get the 20% rebate on the 70,000 points I used because I booked them prior to today –

Feel like I’m being punished for flying Mint and being a loyal customer who books her flights ahead of time.;

20% points back isn’t the same as 20% discount. It works out the equivalent of ~16.7% discount. Still, not a bad deal, especially if you were targeted with the +40% JetBlue Membership Rewards promo.
