Earlier this week I wrote about an opportunity to earn bonus points when making purchases with your Hyatt and IHG credit card. Well it seems like Chase is still sending out offers as I just received one for my Southwest credit card.
For the next 5 months, for every month that you spend $500 or more on your Southwest credit card, you’ll earn 300 bonus points. That gives you the opportunity to earn up to 1,500 extra points worth about $22. This promotion is for purchases made between April 1, 2017 and August 31, 2017. You’ll need to check your email to see if you received the offer. The subject line read: “Activate now to earn up to 1,500 Rapid Rewards points.”
If you use your Southwest credit card anyways for everyday purchases, this is a great way to slightly increase your point balance. Unfortunately, the bonus points you earn will not count towards your companion pass.
