It is that time again when all the hotel Fall promotions are starting to be announced! Hyatt is staying the course this year and offering a pretty minimal promotion that is offering 5,000 points after your first five nights and 10,000 points for every five nights thereafter. While I guess it is actually on par with the other hotel chains currently, I really do miss the days of Hyatt’s Faster Free Night promotions!
So here are the details:
- Promotion runs from September 1st through November 30th
- Must register for the promotion by October 31st (register here)
- You can earn up to 65,000 points in total
- If you have the Hyatt Visa credit card you will get a 20% bonus on all the bonus points earned, meaning you can actually earn up to a total of 78,000 pointsÂ
- Credit card note: for a limited time, some have been able to get the card with a $75 statement credit by doing a mock booking at Hyatt.com and seeing the card offering on the right-hand side of the page).
Point Matrix:
- 5 nights = 5,000 bonus points total (or 6,000 if you have the credit card)
- 10 nights = 15,000 bonus points total (or 18,000 if you have the credit card)
- 15 nights = 25,000 bonus points total (or 30,000 if you have the credit card)
- 20 nights = 35,000 bonus points total (or 42,000 if you have the credit card)
- 25 nights = 45,000 bonus points total (or 54,000 if you have the credit card)
- 30 nights = 55,000 bonus points total (or 66,000 if you have the credit card)
- 35 nights = 65,000 bonus points total (or 78,000 if you have the credit card)
Some things to know:
- Nights do not need to be consecutive
- You do not have to pay for your stay with the Hyatt card to get the 20% bonus, just be a cardmember and ensure it is tied to your Gold Passport account
- Credit card note: for a limited time, some have been able to get the card offer that includes a $75 statement credit by doing a mock booking at Hyatt.com and seeing the card offering on the right-hand side of the page).

This promotion is SO not worthy of an exclamation point 🙂
@James – Ya, you are probably right!
I got 15,000 bonus points just for three weekend nights this summer with the Marriott promotion. This “promotion” is quite low in comparison.
