This is the 3rd annual Amazon Prime day where they are advertising deals “better then Black Friday!” I’ll continue to update this post throughout the day, but remember, many “Hot Deals” will sell out quickly so make sure to buy quick! You can search all Amazon Prime Day deals here.
Now remember, these deals are only for Amazon Prime members. Luckily though, even if you aren’t a member you are still be able to sign up for a 30-day free trial to take advantage of these deals. I still suggest price shopping to ensure you are actually getting the best deal possible!

I’ll put together a post in a little listing out some of the more popular amazing deals!
Maximizing Amazon Deals
- If you have an American Express Membership Rewards earning credit card, see if you are eligible for the $30 off $60 deal (coupon = AMEX17PRIME) and/or the $25 off $50 deal (coupon = AMEX17EVER). All you have to do is use 1 Amex Membership Reward point to pay for your purchase, apply the respective coupon code, and hopefully you’ll be able to take advantage of a nice discount.
- Use the best credit card: Purchase an Amazon gift at an office supply store or supermarket that gives a high cash back bonus with certain credit cards – Amex SimplyCash Amex SimplyCash Plus, Chase Ink Bold, Chase Ink Plus, Chase Ink Cash, and Chase Ink Preferred all give 5x points/5% cash back at US office supply stores (staples sells Amazon gift cards!) and Amex Blue Cash Preferred gives 6% cash back at US supermarkets (many, but not all, supermarkets sell Amazon gift cards).
- Make sure to ensure you are in fact getting the best deal! Shop around to make sure that the price you see is actually a deal when comparing it to other stores. I wouldn’t be surprised if some other retailers start to match some of Amazons prices, i.e., Walmart and Target.
For those that are able to get a great deal at Amazon today, enjoy!
