Back in November, JetBlue just came out with their highest ever offer for the The JetBlue Plus Card – 60,000 JetBlue points after you spend $1,000 on the card. This offer is valid through December 31, 2017 so you only have a few more days to apply! Typically, this offer is at a pretty steady 30,000 points, although there was an increased offer to 40,000 points, which will still be around into 2018. The offer is only available to “first-time cardmembers with new accounts onlyâ€. Just make sure to apply through the 60,000 point offer and not anything less. That means do not apply through any of the blogs that are writing about a 30,000 point offer as that is the affiliate offer (and the increased 60,000 point offer is not! This is NOT my affiliate link, which means I receive no incentive for you to apply through this offer, but I always recommend the best offer available, and I really do think this is a great offer for the card!Â
There are three different JetBlue credit cards, two personal and one business. This is the “Plus†version of the personal cards which means there is a $99 annual fee. The other personal version comes with no annual fee, but also only offers 10,000 points. If you are eligible for this offer, it is definitely worthwhile to pay the annual fee (at least the first year) to get the increased miles.
The Plus offer gives you 6x points on all JetBlue purchases, 2x points at restaurants and grocery stores, and 1x point on all other purchases. You’ll also receive 5,000 bonus points on every account anniversary, which is worth about $75. By having the card you’ll receive 1 free checked bag, plus a free checked bag for up to to 3 companions on same reservation (you just need to use your JetBlue credit card to pay for the flight). And if you are a big spender you can earn Mosaic status by spending $50,000 on the card in the same calendar year.
While the above perks are decent, my favorite benefit of the card is that you’ll receive 10% back in points when you redeem for a flight. Depending on how many points you redeem over the year, the value in points you receive back can definitely make paying the annual fee worthwhile compared to the no annual fee version of the card.
I personally applied for this card a few weeks ago! Will you be applying for this offer?

2x points at restaurants ……. & “Grocery Stores” …..not office supply. The grocery store 2X is what makes this card so appealing, especially w/ the 60K bonus.
Had this on my radar but totally forgot because of the holidays. Auto Approval.
Thanks!!!
