It looks like the American Express Platinum card is back with a 100,000 point offer! Unfortunately this is a targeted offer, but many folks are reporting being able to see the offer via CardMatch™. Although an extremely high annual fee card, this is a great offer! If eligible, you’ll earn 100,000 Membership Rewards® points after you use your new Card to make $5,000 in purchases in your first 3 months.  While this card comes with a high annual fee, it is a great offer that doesn’t come around too often!
Are you eligible?
To see if you are eligible for this offer, you’ll need to enter your information in the CardMatch™Â and see personalized pre-qualified credit card offers pop up. You might see credit cards and offers that others do not see and vice versa. There are times when these individualized offers are significantly better then the publicly available offers being advertised, such as the current Amex Platinum offer. When you put your information into CardMatch, there is no hard pull so it will not affect your credit card (just a soft pull). If you decide to apply for one of the cards, that is when you’ll see a hard pull. I personally was not able to see this offer when I entered my information, but did see it when I had my sister put in her information.
While this card does come with a $550 annual fee (yikes!), there are some great benefits to the card. Here is a detailed post evaluating whether or not the annual fee is worth it, but many will find that the $200 Uber credits plus the $200 airline fee credits you receive on a yearly basis help offset the annual fee to make it absolutely worth it. Ongoing benefits include Starwood Gold status (which then transfers to Marriott Gold status), complimentary access to select airport lounges, Fine Hotels & Resorts benefits, etc. And then just in you first year as a card member you’ll receive the 100,000 bonus points (upon meeting the minimum spend) and your Global Entry fee reimbursed. And since it is an American Express card you can take advantages of the numerous Amex Offers.

I don’t see it on cardmatch but my husband got the 150k points after 10k and 10k spend for the business card. Still can’t decide if we should spend the $450 for it since we already have tons of points and miles that we can’t use.
