Today only, Amazon is offering a $50 Amazon gift card when purchasing a 1-Year Dropbox Plus Subscription plan. Typically the plan costs $99, but with the $50 gift card taken into consideration, this is effectively making the final price just $49 — or half off! I personally consider Amazon gift cards similar to cash, especially since I can add the gift card straight to my account and just withdraw from it on every Amazon purchase. You can purchase this deal here.

With the Dropbox Plus Subscription, you’ll receive 1TB of storage for the entire year which should cover more than you’d ever need, including all of your photos, music, personal projects, work information, etc! You’ll receive an online code in your email for the subscription and the $50 Amazon gift card will be shipping to you in a gift box in just a few days!

The online code can easily be added to your current subscription and will just ended it another year. And while Amazon is only allowing you to purchase only one subscription at a time, you can make an unlimited number of purchases (for now at least, they could always limit this later in the day, so buy now!). Purchase multiple subscriptions and that will just continue to extend your expiration date by a year. This is a great way to get a good deal on the next few years, especially since you receive the Amazon gift card immediately!

When I went to pay with my gc balance I saw the below notation.

Your gift card balance can’t be applied to orders that contain Amazon.com or Visa gift cards, or collectible coins.
