American Express just came out with a new way to save money on an upcoming vacation. With this Amex Offer, you’ll receive a $45 statement credit after spending $300+ with Marriott. From the terms, it looks like your total bill must be $300 and it cannot be split over multiple stays. To receive the statement credit, the charge must hit your credit card by April, 15, 2020.

With this offer, all Marriott properties are eligible which is great as you are not confined to just one property type. This means you can save money at anything from a Fairfield Inn near grandma and grandpas house to a Marriott Resort on the beach. Unfortunately though, only properties within the US and US territories qualify, so for those traveling internationally for the rest of the winter and into the spring, this offer will not help you out on these particular vacations.

Even if you are using points for an upcoming stay, you can alway take advantage of this offer on any incidentals. Just charge everything to your hotel room and if you end up spending $300 or more, this will save you $45 on all extras — restaurants, activities, room service, etc. There are even many properties where you are able to charge ski lift tickets or even excursions to your room.

For those with an upcoming Marriott trip, enjoy the extra $45 in savings!
