Since most travelers are grounded, fingers crossed the Southwest Companion Pass is extended.

With Cyber Monday well on its way, Southwest is offering 30% off all fares booked through Nov. 30, 2023. This is actually one of the better Cyber Monday sales we’ve seen for awhile and best of all, the code even works on flights booked with points. Use use promo code CYBER30 to receive the savings. This is valid for all flights within the US for travel between Jan. 9 and March 9, 2024. International flights, flights to/from Hawaii and flights to/from San Juan are valid through May 22, 2024.

Even if you’ve already have a flight booked, you can still cancel and-rebook your flight or simply “change” your flight for the exact same flight and that should re-price with the 30% discount tacked on.

I personally had a few flights that have gone down and price and was able to get over 5,000 points back in total for an extra few minutes of work.

So if you’re planning a trip, now is a great time to book or re-book your Southwest flight.
