This is the 2nd annual Amazon Prime day where they are advertising deals “better then Black Friday!” I’ll continue to update this post throughout the day, but remember, many “Hot Deals” will sell out quickly so make sure to buy quick! You can search all Amazon Prime Day deals here.

On top of the deal for credit card holders that I wrote about yesterday, there are many other one-day deals that I wanted to share with you. Now remember, these deals are only for Amazon Prime members. Luckily though, even if you aren’t a member you should still be able to sign up for a 30-day free trial to take advantage of these deals. I still suggest price shopping to ensure you are actually getting the best deal possible!

Maximizing Amazon Deals

  • Make sure to go through a shopping portal to earn some cash back, points, or miles on your purchase.
  • Use the best credit card: Discover is offering up to 5% cash back at Amazon this quarter (up to $1,500 spend); Purchase an Amazon gift at an office supply store or supermarket that gives a high cash back bonus with certain credit cards – Amex SimplyCash, Chase Ink Bold, Chase Ink Plus, and Chase Ink Cash all give 5x points at US office supply stores (staples sells Amazon gift cards!) and Amex Blue Cash Preferred gives 6% cash back at US supermarkets (many, but not all, supermarkets sell Amazon gift cards).
  • Make sure to ensure you are in fact getting the best deal! Shop around to make sure that the price you see is actually a deal when comparing it to other stores. Walmart is also advertising some great sales today!

For those that are able to get a great deal at Amazon today, enjoy!
