Amazon Prime Day is set to take place on July 15 and 16, 2019! This will be their fifth year offering this summertime deal which in my experience has similar deals or even many times even better than Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Last year this was a 36-hour promotion, but right now it looks like it might be just 24-hours. I am sure we will find out within the next week or two the official start time and there is the chance that the promotions start early. New deals will pop up every 5 minute, although in the past, some of the really good deals were launched a week or two ahead of time leading up to Prime Day. What are some of the deals for Amazon Prime Day 2019?
Although they haven’t yet disclosed some of the hot ticket items during Prime Day, they have announced some featured launches that are available for pre-order. This includes 50 items that are available exclusively for Prime Members. Some items include: Star Trek Trilogy, Kygo Life On-Ear Bluetooth Headphones, WhizBuilders Water Balloon Launcher, and mophie Juice Pack Air.
Based on last year’s deals, I assume we fill find: Discounts for using American Express membership reward points (fingers crossed), discounted Amazon products (dash button, Kindle, Fire, etc.), discount on books, free money (for using the app, using Amazon Assistant, shopping at Whole Foods), discount on Bose Noice Cancelling Headphones, gift card discounts and bonus offers for using eligible American Express credit cards. There will also be thousands of product deals amongst every shopping category.
Be an Amazon Prime Member
Unfortunately, the only way to gain access to the Amazon Prime Day deals is by having an Amazon Prime account, or using a friend/family members account who is an Amazon Prime member. If you do not have a prime membership, sign up for a free trial now! It will give you 30 days of free prime access. Typically, a membership costs $119 a year. Or, if you have a student e-mail address, you can get an Student Amazon Prime membership for half price or a free 6-month trial membership.
