Update: This offer has expired.
Last week, American Express came out with new benefits of the American Express Business Gold card. While some benefits were added, the annual fee did increase pretty significantly. And unfortunately there is no welcome offer with the card. Fortunately though, there is actually a 50,000 point offers available if you apply through a referral link. So if you see an ad for this card somewhere else or on another bloggers site, make sure it is only a link that comes with the bonus offer! As always on this site, I only include the best offers of a card even if they are not my affiliate links! While I will be posting more about the card later today or tomorrow, I’d like to get the 50,000 point link out there for anyone who is interested in applying now!
Steps to apply via the 50,000 point link through a referral
- Click on my personal referral link to see almost all American Express credit cards
- Click on the “View all Card with a Referral Offerâ€Â (you might have to swap to the personal cards view if you are on a business card referral).Â
- Click on “All Business Cardsâ€
- You’ll see the American Express Business Gold Card 50,000 point offer on the top row of the right-hand side
Overall, this card will give you 4x Membership Reward points on 2 categories of your choice (select from: airfare, advertising, technology providers, gas stations, restaurants, shipping). I personally would opt for the “U.S. purchases at gas stations” and “U.S. purchases at restaurants category”. Although if you have high business spend in some of the other categories, that could provide you with a good amount of bonus points. The previous benefits of the card only earned you 3x points on just 1 category of your choice.
