Boston Restaurant is currently underway and available dates are March 16-21 and March 23-28. Lunches range from $15-$25 and dinners range from $28-$38. Each restaurant sets a set menu price which you can view here.
While I personally think restaurant week menus can be quite pricey, you can get a $5 statement credit on a single purchase of $21 or more at any of the participating restaurants. And if you have no desire to go to these restaurants during the specified timeframe or for the restaurant week menu, you can purchase a $21 gift card at the restaurant and still receive the $5 statement credit. Just make sure the gift card is purchased through the restaurant itself and not a third-party vendor.
From the terms it looks like this is not a one-time statement credit, but available unlimited times through March 28:
“Using the same registered Card, each time that you spend a total of at least $21 at a participating restaurant during the Dine Out Boston campaign, March 16th–March 28th, 2014, you will receive a $5 statement credit.”
To receive the $5 statement credit you must register your American Express card one of two ways:
- Sync your Amex to Twitter and tweet #AmexDineOutBos
- Or, registering your Amex card here
Remember, purchasing gift cards will allow you to get 25% off at a participating restaurant for as long as you want! And you can purchase MANY $21 gift cards (although the restaurant might require gift cards to be purchased in $5 increments).
Enjoy your 25% off at many Boston restaurants!
