One thing I hate is purchasing an item online to find out a few days later (or even the next day!) that the item is now less expensive from the same exact retailer. While many stores will give you a price adjustment, it requires you to actually keep track of your purchases, check the price every day, and then call the retailer to request the adjustment. And right now during the holiday time you could wait on hold for quite some time.
Fortunately, there are some great sites that will automatically track your purchases for you! I personally use both Paribus and the best thing is that it is FREE to use! You’ll need to link your email to the site (so up to you whether or not you feel comfortable giving them access to your email). You’ll want to make sure to link to the email address where all your shopping receipts are sent to. Paribus will then monitor your online receipts in your email and look for price drops. If a price does drop (within the specific stores price adjustment policy), they will work on getting you the money back. Unlike some other sites, you’ll receive 100% of the savings if the item you purchased goes down in price.
Participating stores:
You can receive a price adjustment with the following participating stores:Â Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Newegg, Staples, Target, Bonobos, J.Crew, Zappos, Nordstrom, Banana Republic, Gap, Old Navy, Athleta, Walmart, Kohl’s, Office Depot, Neiman Marcus, Overstock, Sak’s Fifth Avenue, Costco, Home Depot, Sears, Crate & Barrel, Bed Bath & Beyond, REI, Anthropologie, L.L. Bean, LOFT, Wayfair.
Of course, the time frame of how long you have from when you purchased the item to when the price adjustment still applies differs for every single store, and you can see the various price adjustment policies here.
They’ll also monitor items made through Amazon, although Amazon does not have a price adjustment policy. What they will do, however, is monitor the delivery date and if your guaranteed delivery date is not met, they will work to get a refund on any shipping fees or if it was free shipping to get you some other sort of compensation. You have to set up your Amazon account a little differently though as they will not track purchases through your email. You’ll need to enter your Amazon email address and password and it must match your Paribus email. So if you want Paribus to monitor your Amazon purchases, make sure to set up your Paribus account with the same Amazon email address you use. **I personally did not link my Paribus account to Amazon since Amazon contains credit card information and do not want a 3rd party site to have access to it.
Paribus will also track orders made from Walmart.com to ensure the guaranteed delivery date is met. Similar to Amazon, if your package arrives later then it is supposed to, they will contact Walmart on your behalf and request some sort of compensation.
Overall…
I personally have had a great experience Paribus. Since I do most of my shopping online, the site has saved me a decent amount of money. And the best thing is that I do not need to actually make the phone call to get my money back! You can sign up for Paribus here.

Nordstrom Rack will not honor a price drop. I have bought items on line, and the price dropped the next day. I phoned that day certain they would refund the price differential. they said no – they will not make adjustments – the only recourse is to return the item. On the other hand, Hollister is very good about these adjustments.
