Wyndham is at it again and offering another free night opportunity! This is one of their more favorable promotions and why I highly suggest readers looking into! This is really an awesome promotion! With this promotion you’ll 15,000 points after you complete two separate stays. You are only able to earn the bonus once per account. While 15,000 points might not seem like a lot, if you are aware of Wyndham’s program, you’ll know that those points will actually get you a free night at any Wyndham property. Wyndham has a fixed redemption program where all hotels require 15,000 points per night regardless of the quality and cost of the hotel. A Holiday Inn Express right off the highway costs the same as their all-inclusive Wyndham hotel in the Caribbean! This promotion is for stays through July 1, 2018. You can register for the promotion here.
This is actually the third time in just a 6 month time period that we’ve seen a free night promotion. The first time you were able to earn 7,500 points per stay (up to 15,000 points), but you needed to pay using MasterPass. The second time it required 3 stays to earn the full 15,000 points, and you needed to pay via MasterPass. And this time around you need two stays to earn the 15,000 points, no bonus points after your first stay – but there is no MasterPass payment requirement!
Definitely a Mattress Run Worthy Promotion!
This could definitely be a mattress run worthy promotion. For example, on a quick search, I saw that the Days Inn in Orlando/International Drive has rooms for $35-$40. This is an incredibly inexpensive rate and if you were to stay at this hotel twice, you’d pay no more then $90 (with taxes). Although I am not sure you actually want to stay at that particular property! That will then earn you the 15,000 points which you can turn around and redeem for a room that could possibly cost $300 or more! While Wyndham doesn’t have as many high end properties as some of the other chain hotels, you could definitely get some good value out of these points – New York City, Napa, Aspen, Caribbean, etc.!
This past Fall, I personally had my husband complete a few mattress runs during various business trips to Orlando. While he didn’t actually stay at the property (and instead stayed at a much nicer Starwood nearby!), it was worth paying $90ish for us to then stay in New York City!
Keep in mind that no shows DO NOT earn points. Back in 2012, if you booked a stay at a Wyndham property and didn’t actually check in, no show stays counted towards promotions. While you’ll still earn the points now for a no show stay they will not count towards the promotion. From personal experience this no longer works!
Comment below if you have any cheap Wyndham properties nearby! Will you be taking advantage of this promotion? I definitely will!

The most recent promotion (3 stays) required visa checkout not MasterPass.
I think on the last of my three stays I got that confused, and paid with MP rather than VC. After an email they gave me the last 8,000 points anyway.
Yes definitely doing this one! Doing several college visits this spring so this will work out well!!
February 7, 2018 admin Deals & Offers Leave a comment Wyndham Hotels has a new Stay Twice, Get a Free Night promotion. Wyndham Hotels is an interesting chain of hotels that includes Days Inn, Travelodge, Super 8, Howard Johnson, Ramada, Dolce, Wingate, and Wyndham Grand hotels. If you register here first as a Wyndham Rewards member, book by 6/30/18, and make two stays by 7/1/18, they will give you an additional bonus of 15,000 Wyndham Rewards points (on top of the points you’d otherwise earn). 15,000 Wyndham Rewards points are good for one standard bedroom night at any hotel under the Wyndham umbrella. So you could pay for two nights (make sure it’s two separate stays) at a Days Inn, and then redeem for a free night at a Wyndham Grand hotel. Don’t forget to join Wyndham Rewards for free and register first. If you got in on the (now expired) Wyndham credit card / 3 free night promo, you could make an extended vacation out of it. This was timely for me because I was researching some family vacation possibilities and the Howard Johnson Anaheim (Disneyland) is also a Wyndham property.
