I am so so so so excited to hear that pretty soon there will be nonstop flights from Boston to Honolulu. On April 4, 2019, Hawaiian Airlines will start operating this flight 5x a week – and it will actually be the longest US domestic flight you can take!
They are even offering some great introductory fares for $617 roundtrip (shout out to Boston’s area code!) for flights booked through September 19th for travel during the month of April 2019. If Hawaii has been on your horizon, this is definitely a great opportunity to get there for relatively cheap and fast! Although we have seen plenty of inexpensive airfares from Boston ranging from $450-$650 over the past few years.Â
Three years ago I moved back “home” to Boston from New York City and my biggest concern was the lack on non-stop flights. Living in NYC I had three airports at my disposal and could easily get anywhere on most airlines. Boston unfortunately isn’t even close, so I am beyond excited to hear of an awesome nonstop destination being added! I actually am toying with booking a Hawaiian vacation for my family for next year, so there is a good chance I will be experiencing this new route early on! Right now, you can book flights through the beginning of August with those fares pricing out around $1,000 roundtrip.
While I cannot get the fares to load yet with paying for miles, they should cost 20,000 miles one-way. But I am sure availability will be limited!
Yay for more routes being added to Boston, and especially to an awesome island!
