Last week, Delta announced their Black Friday sale where they discounted many routes using Delta miles — although this seems to be a common promotion with Delta on a weekly basis, regardless of Black Friday! Either way, it is nice to continue to see discounted opportunities for them, especially since this promotion included travel between May 23 and September 3, 2019 — perfect for those looking to book a summer vacation! This is also a reminder that particular sale is only going on for a few more hours (November 25th).

Ever since Delta announced their new Boston-Lisbon route, I’ve been eyeing going there this summer. I have yet to go to Portugal and feel like it is the perfect place for a family. So, 36,000 miles + $50 later per person, summer vacation is booked! I also love that the taxes/fees for this route are relatively inexpensive and availability was wide open! Finding flights for 4 passengers on miles is not always the easiest, but I literally had my pick of almost every single day. I also couldn’t let Black Friday and Cyber Monday pass without take advantage of some travel deal, right?!

Anyone else take advantage of this Black Friday promotion with Delta? Where did you book?! HINT: There is still time! And you can always book now and you have until tomorrow night to cancel if you want. I also won’t be surprised if we see the same (or similar) promotion during Cyber Monday.
