For those that live in New England and have been trying to schedule a Global Entry interview, you’ve probably realized that you are SOL. Over the past few months, the only available appoints were in November and December, and those appointments were eventually all snatched up leaving absolutely zero appointments available. Two days ago, if you went to schedule an interview, you’d actually see this message:I’ve been trying to schedule an interview for my parents (prior to their October international trip) so have been religiously checking the schedule. I signed on today and was so excited to see that they opened up a ton of appointments! There are now many dates available in August and September and throughout the rest of the year. This is great news as there were really no other options. The other closest Global Entry Office is in Providence and Hartford and those appointments aren’t available till February!
So, if you are in the New England area and have been trying to make an interview, go run to the site now to schedule or re-schedule for an earlier appointment! I am assuming they added more staff to the location thus making more appointments available.

Thanks for the heads up. I was trying to get three interviews prior to a July trip and was running into the same issue at Logan. I eventually got a tip that they have “VIP Walk-in” hours from 5-6 on Wednesdays. I showed up and the office was willing to take me, my wife, and my son. It did take a little convincing, since these hours are probably reserved for actual VIPs, but there was no one else there so they fit us in. Just an FYI in case anyone needs an appointment sooner rather than later.
Little secret, if you don’t have an appointment you can just show up and stand in line for the next open slot.
@Dave Wade – Yes, some locations allow this! Although, when my parents went to do that at Boston it was going to be a few hours. So just be prepared to wait. Or you might get lucky and have no wait time!
