Boston’s restaurant week has returned and will run through March 13, 2015 (it actually started last week so we are already a week in). You can get a 3-course meal for $15-$25 during lunch or $28-$38 during dinner. Unfortunately Saturdays and Sundays are excluded. You can check out all the participating restaurants here.

Boston Restaurant WeekWhile I personally think restaurant week menus can be quite pricey, you can get a $5 statement credit on a single purchase of $21 or more at any of the participating restaurants. And if you have no desire to go to these restaurants during the specified timeframe or for the restaurant week menu, you can purchase a $21 gift card at the restaurant and still receive the $5 statement credit. Just make sure the gift card is purchased through the restaurant itself and not a third-party vendor.

From the terms it looks like this is not a one-time statement credit, but available unlimited times through March 13th. To receive the $5 statement credit you must register your American Express card here. Unfortunately, Twitter enrollment has already met its capacity.

Remember, purchasing gift cards will allow you to get 25% off at a participating restaurant for as long as you want! And you can purchase as MANY $21 gift cards as you’d like. Just make sure the gift card is processed through the restaurant itself and not through a third-party vendor. Also, there are many participating restaurants that have locations in other cities as well. So you can purchase a gift card in Boston, and then use it in NYC, for example!

Will any of you be taking advantage of Boston’s Restaurant Week? If so, enjoy!
