I’ve received many inquiries asking if one can get the sign up bonus for any of the Chase Ink cards multiple times. Currently, the Chase Ink Cash and Chase Ink Plus cards have increased their sign up bonuses so these are some popular cards to apply for at the moment.
Based on my personal experience (and reports from other blog readers), I’ve been able to get the sign up bonus again for separate businesses. For example, I have the Chase Ink Plus for my Deals We Like business and another Chase Ink Plus for my real estate business (that is still really really really small!). For Deals We Like I applied with my EIN, but for the real estate business I do not have anything set up, so was able to get approved with just including my social security number. I personally wanted two different cards so I could keep expenses separate .
Additionally, many readers wonder if they can get both the Chase Ink Plus and the Chase Ink Cash (or just one of the cards if they already have the Chase Ink Bold or Chase Ink Classic – both cards are no longer available to new applicants). Again, based on my experience YES! They are separate products so you receive separate sign up bonuses. That means if you are new to the Chase Ultimate Reward products, applying for both of these cards (since they are the only two Chase Ink products left for new applicants) can yield you 70,000 bonus points after you meet the respective minimum spend on each card.
You can learn more about these two cards and the limited time sign up offer here: “Chase Ink Plus Increased Sign Up Offer” and “Chase Ink Cash Increased Sign Up Offer“. Here is also an entire series about the Chase Ultimate Rewards program if you are looking to learn more!

@dealswelike
Who is eligible for the sign up bonus?
thanks
Gene – With the Ink cards (and most Chase cards), you are eligible for the sign up bonus (upon approval) if you are not currently a cardmember and if you received the sign up bonus more than 24 months ago. With that being said, two years ago the cards were issued by MasterCard and are now Visas. If you have a Mastercard that is a different product and you are eligible for the sign up bonus on different products.
I’ve heard Chase is now asking for docs, bank statements, etc. Any word or confirmation on that?
@Mike X – I have not heard of that, so am not sure. Last time I applied was back in November and based on my personal experience I did not have to send it any documents. My parents are applying for the Chase Ink Cash card this weekend so I can ask them about their experience.
So I got my Chase Marriott Premier card and bonus 26 months ago and now they are offering 80,000 point signup bonus. I was going to cancel my card then apply for a new card to get the bonus, but has anyone ever tried just calling up the card company, telling them your intentions and seeing if they just spare you the headache and credit you the points? My gut is telling me they are going to point to the fact that they say “not available to current cardholders” and just say no, but figured I would see if anyone has had this experience.
