Starwood is offering another targeted promotion where you can receive bonus points for stays between August 15 and November 15, 2016. To check your offer and register, you can enter your SPG number on this page here.
I personally received a “Unfortunately, you are not eligible for this specific promotion” message, but two family members that stay at SPG properties often received two different messages. One was for a total of 9,000 bonus points, while the other was for 6,000 bonus points. I’ve also heard of people receiving a double stay credits offer.
I wouldn’t personally stay at SPG properties solely based on this promotion, but it is a great way to earn some extra bonus points for already planned upcoming stay. This offer does take a decent number of stays to earn the maximum number of points, but if you travel often (on paid stays), then this could work out great.
