Thanks to Points with a Crew for sharing the news that the Daily Getaways deals are coming back! They are essentially 5 weeks of deals (a new deal every weekday) that are primarily travel related. They range from hotel stays, to car rentals, to attraction passes, to purchasing points. While some of them aren’t anything too great, there are a handful of daily deals that are absolutely phenomenal and well worth it.

The Daily Getaways are sponsored by American Express and typically are available for purchase starting at 1pm EST, at least that is what it was last year. Some deals are extremely limited and will literally sell out within seconds. In the past I’ve been able to get some good buys which have included Wyndham points (valuable in 2012 and 2013, but not a good buy since), Radisson certificates, and Hertz points. Other options that I would have liked to purchase but they sold out too quickly were Hyatt points. You can check out last years Daily Getaway offers here: Week 1, Week 2, Week 3Week 4, and Week 5.

The first day of the sale will be April 10th, but there will be a preview of the deals on April 3rd. Typically, they release the deals week by week so we might only see Weeks 1 and 2 to start with. My assumption is the deals will be similar to ones we’ve seen in the past plus some new ones. Fingers crossed that they add some more good deals and up the number available for each offer.

Stay tuned to a blog post detailing out the “sneak preview” deals next month! I am hoping they are not disappointing, but only time will tell.
