To continue with JetBlue’s Flight week promotion, which I first mentioned a few days ago, today’s 80% off discount includes flights from New York (JFK and EWR) to LaRomana, Tampa, and Seattle. Also, today is the LAST DAY for this promotion!
While this is an unbelievably cheap way to travel, you have to be extremely flexible as this is really for limited dates over the next week or two. For these specific city pairs you must book by 11:59pm EST and the travel codes are limited, so they could run out earlier than end of day. As mentioned yesterday, the daily travel cities will be announced each day at noon and I’ll be sure to post the city pairs and the codes to be used.
Also remember that the 80% comes off of the base fare, not taxes, so some of the Caribbean flights still have decently high taxes tied to them. Overall though you can get one heck of a deal – fares as low as $90 roundtrip!!! While I personally will not be taking advantage of this, I am hoping some of you can. Those with flexible jobs and minimal family obligations could have a great vacation, enjoy!

This grace period only works on reservations that have been booked seven days (or more) prior to the departure date.

I wonder if these fares are valid in reverse, i.e. SEA-JFK on say 2-4 and return, JFK-SEA on 2-9. While far few choices, some might be able to make it work and heck yes, $90 RT is a very nice bonus. So nice that one could even afford to buy an over-priced sandwich and a drink.
