Alaska Airlines is offering a one-day only promotion where you a friend or family member can fly with you for almost free. With this buy one, get one offer, the terms state you are only on the hook to pay for the first passengers flight, plus the taxes for the second. But, in reality, it is working on fares for just one passenger as well — so 50% off for all!

You must purchase your ticket Dec. 20, 2019 for travel Jan 7 through Feb. 12, 2020.

This is a great way to travel on a deal, as long as the dates work for you. If you are looking to fly Hawaii, you will be limited to Mon., Tues. and Wed. dates. Departing from Hawaii is available only for Tues., Wed. and Thurs. And all other cities can take advantage of this promotion on Tues., Wed. and Sat. If those dates work for you, then you are good to go. Just use coupon code LETSBOGO and you’ll see the discount taken off right away.

For example, I looked up flights from Boston (BOS) to Los Angeles (LAX) and I’m seeing flights for as low as $57 one-way per passenger, after the promo is applied. This is beyond cheap as you’ll hardly find a flight across country for that low.

For those with flexible travel schedules, this is a great promotion and one that I highly suggest looking into. Just remember though, you only have today to book the flight, but you do have 24-hours to cancel your flight for a full refund. This means you might want to buy now and think later.

Anyone jump on this promotion? Where will you be flying to?
