InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) is offering double points on all hotel stays between July 15 and August 15, 2015. While double points is always appreciated, the best part of this promotion is that it coincides with their “Share Forever” promotion

For those of you who already registered for the Share Forever promotion, you should be automatically registered for the double points offer. If so, you should have received an email about this offer a few days ago. If you did not, I suggest registering for the Share Forever promotion which then will hopefully register you for both offers.

Keep in mind though, the double points is on the base points you earn, not the bonus points with the Share Forever promotion. For those that have some upcoming IHG stays, enjoy these extra points!

Does “double points” really deserve an exclamation after it? Not a big deal as double points do not amount to a whole lot (sure they have some properties that a few people can use at the 5000 point level). Exclamations seem a bit hyperbolic in this case but it seems all the bloggers are using them these days as click bait.

Funny, I could ask the same thing about your comment. Seriously, just go on to the next one.

i agree–my husband must use IHG for his business travel, and any chance to earn just a bit more IS a big deal to us. I felt the exclamation point was totally appropriate.
