A great JetBlue promotion was just announced where you will earn double JetBlue points for flights through April 30, 2017.. Additionally, all flights will count double towards Mosaic status which is awesome.
You must register for this promotion PRIOR TO booking your flight. That means unfortunately flights previously purchased will not count for the promotion. I personally hate when airlines do this as those that planned ahead of time should not be penalized, but I guess it is what it is. My husband actually booked a flight a day prior to the promotion being announced, and while he could have cancelled his flight and re-booked (due to the 24 hour cancellation policy), the flight went up $400, so that wasn’t happening! For those that are already Mosaic members, you can also cancel your flight for no fee and if the flight hasn’t gone up in price re-book after you register to be eligible for the promo.
You can register here and then all flights booked between now and March 23, 2017 for flights flown through April 30, 2017 will be eligible.

So if you are currently a Jet Blue Mosaic (as I am) and you can cancel and rebook to get the bonus points, why make your best customers go through the gyrations of cancelling and rebooking? Especially since JetBlue is not going to get any additional revenue because I won’t cancel and rebook flights that have gone up in price just to get the points. This does not seem like a good way to run a loyalty program. The objective should be to sell more tickets, not penalize your customers who are loyal to you.
