For those who have some Starwood stays coming up, this promotion will allow you to earn Delta miles IN ADDITION to the SPG points you’ll earn. Unfortunately though, this is a targeted offer and only properties in the United States and Canada are eligible. For every stay between October 24 and December 31, 2016 you can earn either double or triple Delta miles depending on if it is a weekday or weekend stay:
- Weekday stays = double Delta miles
- Weekend stays = triple Delta miles
To see if you are eligible, enter your Delta and SPG number here. Hopefully, you’ll receive the confirmation screen giving you a successful registration. If not, a screen will pop up giving you the dreaded “We’re sorry. You’re not eligible to receive this special bonus offer.”
Fortunately, my husband is eligible for this offer and he stays at Starwood hotels quite often for business. I am going to guess this promotion will net him approximately 3,000 Delta miles, which I am very excited about! To earn the extra miles, you’ll need to register for this offer by December 15, 2016. Starwood is extremely strict with registration dates, so just register now so you do not forget!
