Typically with the Chase Freedom credit card you earn 5% cash back on rotating categories. Currently, we are in the last quarter of the year, where the enhanced cash back categories include: Amazon, Zappos, Audible, and Diapers.com.

However, between November 23 and December 31, 2015, Chase is increasing the cash back earned to 10%! And the best part of this promotion is that the $1,500 maximum is reset come November 23rd! That means you can earn 5% cash back up to $1,500 through November 23, which means up to $75 cash back, and then another 10% cash back up to $1,500 during the last 5 weeks of the calendar year, which means $150 cash back. Ultimately, you can earn a total of $225 cash back during Q4! This is an amazing promotion, especially since Amazon.com is part of this quarters rotating categories. If you aren’t able to spend $3,000 at Amazon, but do a ton of Amazon shopping in general, you can always purchase Amazon gift cards and store in your account to use at a future time.

Remember, you must make sure to activate by December 14, 2015 to receive any cash back for this quarter.
