A few days ago I posted on the newly enhanced Silvercar referral program where both the referrer and the referee have the opportunity to get $100 by renting with Silvercar by the end of the year. That is a pretty amazing referral program in my opinion! Also, for those who signed up and it says you’ll only earn $25, I’ve reached out to their support team to inquire.
If you decide to take advantage of essentially get a free Silvercar ride, you can actually earn miles with your rental. Silvercar has teamed up with Virgin America, and Elevate members can earn 500, 1000, and 2000 points on this 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rental. For every car rental there after you can earn 4 points per dollar spent. This promotion goes through December 31, 2014.
Regardless if you think you’ll use their miles or not, you might as well add your Virgin America to your Silvercar profile page, You never know when you’ll finally have enough miles to redeem for a free trip.
