Hilton’s “More Nights, More Points” promotion is starting today, October 10, 2013 and will go till January 31, 2014. During this time period you’ll earn the following points with every stay:
- Two-night stays = 2x HHonors Points
- Three-night stays = 3x HHonors Points
- Four-Night stay = 4x HHonors Points
While this promotion is great for those with an extended stay (four nights or more), there is no bonus for those that have a one-night stay. Due to Hilton’s massive devaluation this past March, I personally have not been paying much attention to earning Hilton points.
If you are a diamond member, change your double-dip preference to Points + Points, and stay for four nights or more, you will earn 50 points per dollar spent. For those that are on the road every week, if you are staying at a $300+ hotel/night in NYC on business, for example, you could earn 60,000 points per week! That is great, but unfortunately many hotels opt out of the promo (especially those expensive ones in NYC). Right now the list of non-participating hotels is pending, but you can check this site once it has been updated.
Unless you are able to get 4x points, this is not a promotion to make you select a Hilton hotel over another brand, but definitely a nice add-on if you were planning on staying at a Hilton anyways. Although, most hotel promotions right now aren’t anything to write home about.

Yeah I think that’s right. If you’re going to have some Hilton stays, which I will due to work-negotiated corporate rates, then register for the promotion. Don’t change your stays for this.
Which of course means its kind of toothless right? Why should Hilton offer any bonus unless they’re trying to affect your stays? Are there a set of people who DO register for these bonuses but don’t read blogs and aren’t deeply aware of the devaluation?
