Wyndham Rewards and Caesars Entertainment’s Total Rewards have formed a partnership which means you’ll soon be able to redeem your Wyndham points at any Caesar Entertainment hotel. I am personally excited for this new redemption opportunity as I have a ton of Wyndham Reward points just sitting in my account and haven’t really had an opportunity to use them anywhere. There aren’t a ton of desirable Wyndham properties, so this will allow me to redeem at about 30 more properties throughout the US and Canada.
Wyndham Rewards has a fixed redemption program where it requires a fixed 15,000 points to redeem for a free night. It does not matter if the hotel is $49 a night or $500 a night, it still requires the same number of points. My assumption is that when redeeming for these 30 additional properties, it will require the same 15,000 points per night. For peak weekend nights at Las Vegas hotels, getting a free night for 15,000 points is a great deal. There is no set date on when you’ll be able to redeem your points, but it does state “later this Summer”.
Additionally, you can also request a status match, so if you have Wyndham Platinum status you’ll receive Total Rewards Platinum status. If you have Wyndham Diamond status, you’ll receive Total Rewards Diamond status. If you have the Wyndham credit card, you have automatic Wyndham Platinum status. If you have the FoundersCard, you have automatic Total Rewards Diamond status. You can apply for the status match now and your account will be updated within minutes.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but you do not get Wyndham Platinum or any Wyndham status w/ the credit card.
@David – The Wyndham Rewards credit card that has a $75 annual fee comes with automatic Platinum status.
You are right, I had to look it up. The Wife & I both have the Wyndham Visa signature card w/ the $69 fee. It is the 2 point per $ everywhere version, but doesn’t give status.
