Through September 30, 2016, everyone is able to get 15% off a Silvercar car rental by using coupon code FTUNI15. While there are typically better promo codes for new members, existing members hardly get the opportunity to get a discount, so this is a great offer since there are no exclusions. Remember, new members will always get $25 back after their rental if they sign up through a referral link and can use the code LOUNGEBUDDY to get a free rental day on a 2+ day rental.
What is Silvercar?
If you are new to Silvercar, it is an interesting concept where you are renting one type a vehicle, an Audi A4. These cars have all-wheel drive, built-in GPS, satellite radio, bluetooth, and a free WiFi hotspot. Renting a car with them is seamless as there is no paperwork to fill out (you complete your profile ahead of time). An employee will pick you up at the airport in your car as well as and drop you off at the airport – no car rental shuttles. Currently, Silvercar is at the following airports locations: Austin, Chicago O’Hare, Dallas Love Field, Dallas Fr. Worth, Denver, Ft. Lauderdale, Los Angeles, Miami, Phoenix, Newark, and San Francisco.
New to Silvercar?
As I mentioned above, if you are new to Silvercar, after you complete first rental you’ll get $25 back from Silvercar – within 24 hours after you complete the reservation you’ll receive an email from Silvercar and will be paid $25. To receive this credit you must sign up through another members referral. Note: This is my referral link. As always, thanks for the support and feel free to leave your referral in the comments section as well!
My Experience
I recently rented with them a few months back in Miami and had a great experience! Because of a certain promotion going on at the time, it actually cost me a lot less to rent with Silvercar then any other car rental company. I absolutely would rent with them again if the price was right.
