Earlier this week American Airlines announced a promotion were you can earn 1,000 bonus miles on every roundtrip flight you take from LaGuardia airport to select destinations. This promotion starts April 1 and will run through June 30, 2014.
Select destinations include:
- Charlottesville Albemarle, VA (CHO)
- Dayton, OH (DAY)
- Greensboro/High Point/Winston-Salem, NC (GSO)
- Knoxville, TN (TYS)
- Little Rock, AR (LIT)
- Louisville, KY (SDF)
- Norfolk, VA (ORF)
- Richmond, VA (RIC)
- Roanoke, VA (ROA)
- Wilmington, NC (ILM)
Unfortunately, since this is for roundtrip flights only, you will not earn any bonus miles for oneway flights or for reservations booked as two separate oneway flights.
Overall though, a great promotion for those flying American Eagle to/from New York LaGuardia and any of the above destinations. I am assuming business travelers who go to one of the selected destinations on a weekly basis will make out well!
