This is a quick reminder that the monthly $10 free promotion at Amazon is ending tomorrow (August 31st). This is for targeted Amazon.com accounts where if you purchase a $50 gift card you’ll receive a a free $10 promotion code to use at Amazon at a future time. Typically accounts are only targeted once every few months, so if you’ve taken advantage of this promotion recently, there is a good chance you will not be eligible this go-around. But, you might as well check and see!

You’ll need to sign onto your Amazon account, add a $50 gift card to your cart and use the promotional code 0816GCARDS to see if it accepts the code. You can also go straight to this site and it should tell you if you are eligible or not.

If you are eligible and shop at Amazon, this is a great offer! Essentially all you need to do is purchase a Amazon.com Gift Card during the month of August and within a few days you’ll receive your $10 promotional code via email. The $10 promo code does expire so make sure to use it by the expiration date! You can then enter both the $50 gift card and $10 promotion code into your account to use for a future purchase (go to Your Account > Apply a Gift Card to Your Account). I’ve heard mixed results about purchasing two $25 gift cards – some state that it did not work for them in the past, so to be cautious I recommend purchasing one $50 gift card.

Were you targeted for this $10 free promotion credit deal? If so, enjoy!
