And the best part is that you can take advantage of this offer twice per registered account. This offer doesn’t expire until the end of the year giving you plenty of time to save money.
For those of you new to Instacart, it is a service that will allow you to get your groceries delivered to you from your local stores in as little as an hour. You just select your items online, add them to your cart and they will show up at your doorstep pronto. It also means you can add perishables to your order, which is great.
Delivery is typically $3.99 per order or you can always subscribe to a monthly membership. Although, if you are a new member you’ll receive an offer for free delivery which will allow you to try it out.
Saving Money with Amex Offers
For this promotion, you’ll first need to make sure to add the offer to your card. Unfortunately, you can now only apply the offer to one card within your account, but if another member in your family also has an Amex card, make sure to apply it to their account as well to double the savings.
You’ll then need to spend at least $50 or more with Instacart (after any promotions or coupons are applied). Once the $50 hits your credit card account, you’ll receive the $25 statement credit within a few days. If you are new to Instacart and received free shipping for the day you registered, you might want to just quickly make your two $50 purchases to receive free shipping on both orders. As a new member you might also receive an instant $15 off coupon to apply to your order.

This is by far one of the better Amex Offers we’ve seen in awhile. This offer seems to be widely available and caters to almost everyone. There is nothing better than being able to do grocery shopping from your couch while also saving money! With this offer we will actually save $100 in my family, which is quite amazing.

Christmas came early with this one, its deals like these that justify the AMEX PLAT cost. I will completely use the 100 dollar credit on this deal.
Reviews for this company were not that positive as some people said that they inflate prices so what kind of savings can I expect when that happens? Also, if you can’t use your loyalty card at Safeway for instance then that is taken away as well. My bill at Safeway was $151 yesterday but after all the discounts that my loyalty card provides the final bill was $68. Sounds good on the surface but I’m going to pass on this….

This offer seems to be only available on both of me and my wife’s business AMEX cards and not the personal ones. I. hope this helps those who may not see it.
The prices are higher that buying in store Example Costco roasted chicken in store $4.99 delivery price is $6.09.
Does the tip get added to the total charge? For example if my items and service charge and tax are $48.00, can I tip $2.00 to get my total charge to $50 and will that get sent to AmEx as $50? (I’ll tip more in cash. Don’t worry!)
@janet – The total amount that hits your credit card statement just has to be $50. So yes, a tip should work.
Anyone know if it works on purchase Instacart gift card as well (not third party gift cards, there is also instacart gift card option) ?
