Southwest Airlines just announced that it will start offering free movies on their flights. As long as the aircraft is WiFi enabled, you’ll have over 30 movies at your disposal! You can access the movies on your cell phone, iPad, tablet, or laptop. While you’ll access the movies via the Southwest WiFi site, you do not actually have to purchase WiFi access.
Now that most of my travels involve taking me 5 and 2 year old along, having free movie access is huge! While it is no individual TV at every single seat like JetBlue, it is still something. Southwest is already my #1 favorite airline and this is just one more reason for me to fly them with my family! Thank you Southwest for helping to occupy my kids on our upcoming flights!
