The on-demand car service Uber is giving away free rides this weekend for trips to/from Queens. Each person can get up to two free rides of $20 each. This is valid starting today, Friday, November 29, 2013 through Sunday, December 1, 2013 at 11:59pm.

Some things to know about this promotion:

  • You must enter promo code QUEENSLOVESuberX in your Uber account
  • Only valid for uberX rides (does no apply to uberTaxi, UberBlack, or SuberSUV)
  • Your trip must START or END in Queens
  • You will need to pay any amount over $20

The great thing about this promotion which differs from many others is that this is NOT for new Uber accounts only – even if you’ve applied a promotion to your account previously, you can still apply this code as well.

Now, if you are a new Uber member, you can maximize by signing up through a referral first.

  • New Uber members can get a free $10 credit just be signing up. This sign up must come from an existing member (the referrer receives a $10 credit as well after you take your first Uber trip).
  • Apply the two free rides in Chicago code QUEENSLOVESuberX
  • If you are a first time Uber user you can apply a “first time only” code to your account. Currently there is an AMAZING first time user promotion. Enter code OCHOLIDAYS – this credit must be used by January 31, 2014.

To user Uber, you will need to download the app on your phone and enter your username/passcode. Enjoy!
