Last year, Frontier introduced a friends can fly free promotion, which works similar to their popular Kids Fly Free offer. Unfortunately though, this promotion hasn’t resurfaced for awhile, until now. With the current Friends Fly Free offer, all flights booked through March 20 for travel between March 13 and May 31, 2020 can be treated as a BOGO. Just find a friend to fly with you and one of you will fly for free. Yes, 100% free.
The major caveat to this promotion is that you must have a Discount Den membership which costs $59.99. While many folks might already have this to get discounted fares or take advantage of the kids fly free promo, if you do not have this membership, definitely take the additional cost into consideration to see if this promotion actually saves you money. Fortunately though, the membership is valid for up to 6 passengers on the reservation. This means only one passenger has to have the membership.
However, they are incentivizing the promotion for college students with a .edu email address. If spend the $59.99 on a Discount Den membership, you’ll be issued an equivalent Frontier Airlines voucher. This means your membership is ultimately free. You’ll receive the voucher within three business days and can be used for flights through May 31, 2020.
It really is free!
When Frontier says that your friend will fly free, they truly mean F-R-E-E. You will not pay any additional taxes or fees on the free flight (unless you opt to pay for baggage or seat assignments). When you go to pay for your flights, you’ll see the discounted amount.
I unfortunately have not yet had the opportunity to use this promotion. With that being said, it truly is an awesome way to travel for significantly less and I highly recommend seeing if the dates work for any upcoming travel you might have. Just remember, Frontier charges extra for everything, such as checked bags, carry on bags and even seat assignment.
Have you yet been able to fly on a discount on Frontier Airlines yet?

Can this be used for one way tickets or only roundtrip?
@Courtney – One way or roundtrip.
I’ve search dozens of Frontier airfares from Philadelphia and can’t find even one Friends Fly Free or Kids Fly Free fares, so has anyone landed one of these fares?
I’ve been looking for so long and can’t find one
