Get 20% off Your Amazon Purchase Again!

Over the past week there has been an amazing way to save 20% off your Amazon purchase (up to $100 savings) by just applying 1 Membership Reward point (related blog post). Some folks were even able to keep on activating the coupon and taking advantage of the $100 savings multiple time. My account allowed me to take advantage 2 times!

Now, if you already maximized your 20% savings or were not eligible (unfortunately this was targeted) there seems to be another way to continue to save. According to Dan’s Deals, there is a coupon code that will allow you to receive 20% off your Amazon purchase again just by using 1 Membership Reward points. Just apply code AMEXSWP20PD at checkout – although it is targeted.

The best part about this promotion is that the 20% off is coming off the original price and then being applied to the already discounted price! So if an item is on sale due to a Prime Day Deal, you’ll see a discount equivalent to 20% off the original price, NOT the discounted price – which provides significantly more savings! For example, if you were looking to purchase the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones that I wrote about yesterday, you’ll receive 20% off the original price of $279.99, instead of the discounted price of $129.99. This means you’ll get an additional $56 off bringing the final price down to just $69.20!!a screenshot of a phone
I tested this out on many items and it seems to be working this way on all discounted deals! This is the perfect opportunity to receive an even higher discount on Amazon Device items that are already heavily discounted.Related blog post.
