Last week I made a new hotel stay with Hyatt to find out a few days later it wasn’t showing up in my accounts “My Reservations” page) on the Hyatt.com site. I made the reservation directly with Hyatt so there was no reason for it not to appear there. I called Hyatt to make sure I in fact had a reservation and was informed that there was a glitch on their site where if you have 25 or more reservations (active or canceled) then nothing would appear.

I should have 8 reservations listed!

During this call I inquired to see what other active reservations I had and was informed about a reservation in Aruba 2+ months away. This was a reservation I thought I canceled, or at least meant to cancel at some point and apparently never did. I was then 3 days passed the cancellation policy. And guess what, the Hyatt Aruba is not being so accommodating canceling this hotel without a HUGE penalty.

I explained to Hyatt that I relay on their site to give me accurate information and to list my reservations in my account. I was also disappointed that this is a known glitch that has been going on for awhile (not sure how long exactly) and that no communication was given to their Hyatt members (via email or on the site).

So for those that relay on the Hyatt site to list out their upcoming hotel stays with them, if you have 25 canceled or active reservations nothing will be listed! The supervisor I spoke to also wasn’t sure when this technology glitch would be fixed.

That does suck. And yea, Hyatt Aruba has horrible policies like that. And they want two nights down upon reserve so if you split up you booking to do a DSU you have to put a lot down.

I just checked mine and they are all there. I have 24 so I just came in under the limit.

I thought Hyatt was getting their act together in their IT department. I guess the team was just away and now back to cock it all up.
