Amazon’s Deal of the Day includes a nice discount on the Fire HD 8 Tablet, 16 GB. This tablet is currently being sold for $30 off, costing only $49.99. This makes it the exact same price as the previous model, the Fire 7 Tablet. It is also the exact same price that this tablet was sold back in November during Black Friday. Although the item was significantly less expensive back in September 2017 when you could combine a few different promos (but only Amex Membership Reward members eligible), but that offer is long over.
I personally find Apple products to be much easier to use, but I know many people love the Fire’s, especially since they are significantly less! I see them being used quite often when I travel.
